Description

Update (13 Mar 2023): The entire chapter has been rewritten. The artwork "Glad you're back home" has been incorporated into the page.

That's the moment you realize a Maverick rat could do more to save people while trying to kill them than the Maverick Hunters in this mission.

Mega Man X and all of its characters belong to Capcom.
I do not own any of the official arts/sprites/backgrounds used in this comic, if they are present in this page. They're Capcom's © - Mega Man X and Zero sprites were made by several authors.
Alia sprite by FXFreitas and kensuyjin33.
Textures from X8 were ripped by Sprite's INC.

Special thanks to The Mega Man Knowledge Base.

The edges stand out to me thanks to resolution, which is an effective design choice. The mouth sprites really stand out well and the addition (subtraction) to the eyes really bring out the emotions! With the planning of camera positioning and the overlays assisting the environment, the setting comes to life. I also enjoyed the detail put into the suit to reinforce where he just was. The gradient text flowed right into the comic, and stand out enough to be seen and sits in well enough to be fitting. As a comic series, this project is worth going back to read the archives for!
