Mega Man X and all of its characters belong to Capcom.
I do not own any of the official arts/sprites/backgrounds used in this comic, if they are present in this page. They're Capcom's © - Mega Man X and Zero sprites were made by several authors.
Textures from X8 were ripped by Sprite's INC.

This sprite comic (if I can even call it that) is something special. I've never seen one done with such attention to framing and world building. The use of lighting effects and assets to establish the setting the characters occupy alongside the texture of pixels as a stylistic supplement is what sets this comic apart from other independent projects of a similar scale. My enjoyment of this comic comes from more than just being impressed by the base illustrations, choice of palette, and narrative. Visually, I'm very impressed with it.

Despite my enjoyment of it, I do have faults with some design choices. I think using higher resolution to only define a character's facial expressions can look anywhere from goofy to plastic. While for the most part the sprite work is solid, some poses look still or non anatomical - especially Niels. Finally, the story meanders a bit and takes a while to get going.

I have high hopes for this comic. I eagerly anticipate to see more.
